A one day seven lesson basic course that includes:

- Enjoying water sports with your boat

Last Saturday of each month. $25 per family
BOATING SAFETY AND SEAMANSHIP
A seven week, thirteen lesson course that includes:
- Which boat is for you
- Equipment for your boat
- Trailering your boat
- Handling your boat
- Your highway signs
- The rules you must follow
- Inland boating
- Introduction to navigation
- Lines and knots for your boat
- Your boat's radio
- The rest of our story
- Powering your boat
- Weather and boating
7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Mondays and Thursdays
Mote Marine Keating Center $50 per person
GPS FOR MARINERS
A one day, four hour course that includes:
- History and Perspective
- How GPS works
- Your GPS receiver
- Using GPS to navigate
- GPS receiver selection and cost
- Chart plotting
- Connecting your GPS to a computer
- Navigating with your GPS and other equipment on your boat
10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Saturdays
Mote Marine Keating Center $40 per person
ADVANCED COASTAL NAVIGATION
A twelve lesson intensive course that includes:
- Introduction to Coastal Navigation
- Marine magnetic compass
- Nautical chart
- Navigator's tools and instruments
- Dead reckoning
- Piloting
- Current sailing
- Tides and tidal currents
- Electronic navigation
- Reference publications
- Fuel and voyage planning
- Reflections
7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Mondays and Thursdays
